The 2010 contest returns an old name to the IPMS Phantom Phlashers--"The Phantom Phurball!" A "Furball," in dog-fighting terms, is the deadly dance between two or more aircraft in aerial combat. Now, while nothing will be shot down in the Phantom Phurball but egos, the concept is the same: a free-for-all themeless contest will no holds barred. Additionally, the Phantom Phlashers are racing towards 500 mondels in a single show this coming year. It has long been a dream to see this number at our show, and we would like to make this a reality.

So kick the tires, light the fires, and grease up the tank treads--it's a Phantom Phurball!
